We’ve all seen a number of apps that you can carry with you on a USB thumb drive, now you can take a wiki with you, as well.

Digital Inspiration has all the info about TiddlyBackpack wiki which you can use to store, reference and organize your notes.

There are no fees, just download it and go.  Everything is in one file which you can open in any web browser, create your wiki pages, email or ftp it, too.

Wikipedia officially goes mobile
Wikipedia, “one of the greatest collaborative volunteer collective knowledge projects of all time and one of the most visited sites on the web,” says MobileCrunch, has finally released Mobile Wikipedia.

Results are text only (to assist with bandwidth issues) in 14 possible languages.  While not as flashy as some of its Apple App Store competition, it’s free, and should work on just about any mobile device that can connect to the Internet, they say.
