Posted by Jacque on March 4th, 2008

For those of us who don’t use Photoshop or don’t want to spend the money for it, Web Worker Daily lists six free graphics applications they like.  These range from full-blown image editors to apps that perform specific jobs.

  • GIMP a free, open source image editor with a powerful set of tools.
  • IrfanView loads in an instant, and has a very rich set of tools,
  • MWSnap a free screen capture program with a rich set of tools.
  • InstantShot a free application for the Mac
  • XnView converts graphic images to many different file formats
  • JPG Cleaner a free utility that strips out all non-picture data from JPG images.
