LinkedIn’s new partner, features

Posted by Jacque on December 10th, 2007

linkedin-logo2.pngRead/WriteWeb has an interesting article on LinkedIn’s new features and forthcoming API.

LinkedIn is the leading social network aimed at business and professional people wanting to keep up their connections, build their careers and share information and advice with industry experts.  See LinkedIn’s announcement and/or read RWW.   They designate the “good news” to be:

  • a new partnership with BusinessWeek making it possible for you to hover over names on the BW site and see how you’re connected to them via LinkedIn;
  • a Social Bookmarking button allowing you to share an article with your network of contacts;
  • a  newsfeed and reading list which will highlight the most popular articles around the web among your contacts;
  • modules on the newly designed home page that can be moved around by drag and drop.

Read about the “bad news” and find much more discussion at RWW and Techmeme.
