Amazon launches digital music store

Amazon’s digital music service, Amazonmp3, is now in public beta.
Most MP3 songs sell for 89 or 99 cents and can be purchased through “one-click” shopping or Amazon Downloader software. You can also purchase albums, and of course, Amazon makes recommendations for you based on your history at the site.
All songs are compatible with both iTunes and Windows Media Player. [via Mashable]
