I’ve long been a user of free open source FTP client FileZilla.  Now it has undergone a major upgrade writes Quick Online Tips, making it run under multiple platforms like Windows, Linux, *BSD, Mac OS X and more.

FileZilla 3 has been completely rewritten and streamlined in the process.  If you are a FileZilla 2 user, you should be aware that you can run both versions 2 and 3 on the same system, which you may want to do because not all features of the earlier version are supported in FZ 3.

Wikipedia reaches 2 million milestone
Wikipedia, founded in January 2001, had its 2 millionth English language article written on September 10th, reports TechCrunch.

The two millionth article was on El Horminguero, a Spanish language television show. Wikipedia user Zzxc wrote the article.
