Google Reader’s new search function

Posted by Jacque on September 6th, 2007

A long-awaited and surprisingly missing function of Google Reader — a search function — was enabled today.

You can find posts from any of your subscribed feeds whether you’ve read them or not.  There are options at the search bar so you can choose to search all or starred items, or any of your folders.

Search results appear quickly.  You can then star a result, click its title to expand the post, or click on the double arrow next to the snippet to go to the webpage itself. [via Google Blogoscoped]
