Children’s Books Online: the Rosetta Project

Posted by Jacque on August 7th, 2007

kidbooks.pngAnother great collection of free online books!  This interesting site claims to be the largest collection of illustrated antique books online.  It certainly looks appealing.  There are thousands of free, beautifully illustrated books that can be read online or downloaded.

Indexed by age/interest and reading levels, some books have audio, some are multi-media. There is a search engine with Boolean searching capability.  [via Lifehacker]

Of course, I am also reminding you that your local library may have a great collection of children’s books online (mine does) and also in print.  Why not visit?
