Twitterlicious mashup featured

twitter-logo.pngI was interested in this video on C|Net News from Mashup Camp mainly because I was hoping for a painless way to learn about Twitter, as well the new mashup called Twitterlicious that is featured here.

Twitterlicious is a mashup of Twitter, Del.icio.us, and Ma.gnolia.com.  As a  Del.icio.us user, I was intrigued delicious-social.pngto find out how it had been mashed up with Twitter.  Mission accomplished with this interview of Myk O’Leary, the Twitterlicious developer, by ZDNet Executive Editor David Berlind.

Twitterlicious allows users to view Twitter URLs on their smart phone and bookmark them for later use on their PCs.  When magnolia.pngyou’re viewing your or a friends’ timeline, you have the option to “clip” the tweet which saves the URL for that tweet in your Del.icio.us or Ma.gnolia.com account as a private link with a specific tag so you can come back and view it later. “So many sites linked to in Twitter are useless on mobile devices, that this clipping is incredibly useful,” says O’Leary.  The video runs 5 minutes 9 seconds.
