Mind mapping Wikipedia

Posted by Jacque on July 10th, 2007

Mind mapping a wiki helps you get an overview of a topic, understand its elements, and select branches of most interest to you.  A graphical view may be more instantly comprehensible to some of us.

Wikimindmap is such a tool.  Useful because, “Wiki pages in large public wiki’s, such as wikipedia, have become rich and complex documents. Thus, it is not allways straight forward to find the information you are really looking for. This tool aims to support users to get a good structured and easy understandable overview of the topic you are looking for.”

You can use Wikimindmap to browse Wikipedia, as shown below for the topic of Web 2.0.  [via Lifehacker]
