Firefox mini-me

Posted by Jacque on May 7th, 2007

Rick Broida calls it an “insanely useful extension.”  After reading the description of Preview tabs with Tab Scope (Firefox) , I immediately downloaded it and can only agree.

tab-scope.pngFor the Firefox browser only, Tab Scope displays a thumbnail preview of any open tab just by mousing over it.  BUT!  It also includes some navigation tools (back, forward, reload and stop), support for mouse-wheel scrolling, and the ability to see a larger (or smaller) thumbnail by clicking the magnifying-glass icon.

You can also set custom sizes in the options menu, which I found I definitely wanted to do to get just the right settings, especially width, for the thumbnails.  As one comment pointed out, it’s like have a mini Firefox browser within Firefox.
